Acewell: Common surface treatment process of stainless steel

There are many common surface treatment processes for stainless steel, which can improve the corrosion resistance, aesthetics and mechanical properties of stainless steel. The following are some common stainless steel surface treatment processes:

1. Pickling: pickling can remove the scale and welding heat-affected zone on the surface of stainless steel, make the surface smooth and improve the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.

2. Passivation: After pickling and then passivation treatment, a dense oxide film can be formed on the surface of stainless steel to further improve its corrosion resistance.

3. Electroplating: The surface of stainless steel can be electroplated with chrome, nickel, copper, etc. to increase the hardness and wear resistance of stainless steel and improve its appearance.
4. Polishing: Polishing the surface of stainless steel by mechanical or chemical methods can make the surface smoother and brighter.

5. Sandblasting: By spraying abrasive particles at high speed, the scale, dirt and other substances on the stainless steel surface are removed, and the roughness of the stainless steel surface is improved.

6. Passivation spraying: A passivation film is formed on the surface of stainless steel by spraying a passivation agent to increase the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of stainless steel.

7. PVD coating: Through physical vapor deposition (PVD) technology, a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coating is formed on the surface of stainless steel to improve its surface hardness and durability.

8. Texture treatment: Different textures are formed on the surface of stainless steel by embossing, printing and other methods to increase the aesthetics of stainless steel.

9. Spraying: Form a protective layer on the surface of stainless steel by spraying paint to increase the corrosion resistance and aesthetics of stainless steel
