Polished Stainless Steel Pipes

Polished Stainless Steel Pipes

If the surface of a stainless steel tube is uneven, there will be a series of problems in the process of use. So the manufacturer will polish this pipe to make the appearance smoother and also provide an anti-corrosion effect. How do you polish stainless steel pipes? This is a brief introduction to the method of polishing stainless steel pipes.

Methods:
1. Mechanical polishing

This method polishes both the outer surface and the inner wall of stainless steel pipes. You can polish the inner wall by inserting the grinding wheel inside the pipe and rotating it at high speed. You can add polishing paste to the steel pipe during the polishing procedure if you think it isn't bright enough. The surface of stainless steel pipes can be removed by mechanical polishing. It is hard to remove deep wear marks from the surface of a steel pipe by only mechanical polishing. You should also add concentrated polishing liquid and apply the appropriate pressure when polishing. This will prolong the polishing process.

2.Electrolytic Polishing
The steel pipe must be placed first in an electrolytic cell, where the anode (a stainless steel tube) and cathode (an insoluble metal) are both stainless steel pipes. The tiny bumps that are on the surface can be removed by applying direct current to the electrolytic cells.

3.Chemical Polishing
The stainless steel pipe can be dipped in the polishing fluid prepared to dissolve any concave or convex parts. This will make the surface of your steel pipe more smooth. This method of polishing does not require complicated mechanical equipment. The polishing fluid can be configured to polish several stainless steel pipes simultaneously, making it more efficient.

4. Ultrasonic polishing
The stainless steel pipe should be soaked in the grinding suspension before putting it together into the ultrasonic field. Ultrasonic waves vibrate back and forth to polish the stainless steel surface. This method of polishing stainless steel pipes will not deform them, but is difficul
